Our aim is to make your class as enjoyable as possible, whilst at the same time, providing you with a safe environment to exercise in. We have been thinking carefully about the measures that we can put in place to help keep us all safe at this time and have outlined these below. If you have any special requirements when it comes to visiting our studio, then please let us know and we will do what we can to accommodate these.
Social distancing guidelines will be observed in all of our classes. You will find floor markers in the studio which indicate 2 metre distancing
We have produced a helpful class guidance sheet so that you’ll know what to expect before you arrive. You will be asked to complete and return the pre-exercise health questionnaire before coming along to class
For the safety of everyone, if either you or someone you live with/in your support bubble displays symptoms of coronavirus, please do not visit the studio or take part in a class until it is safe to do so. We will happily issue a class credit which can be used at a later date for any classes booked and paid for if you are unable to attend due to these reasons. The same will apply if you have been asked to self-isolate at the request of the NHS track and trace service
The number of people in each class will be limited so you will be asked to pre-book and pay for your class in advance of attending. We politely ask that you do not attend the studio in the hope of attending a class unless you have already booked
Hand sanitiser will be available throughout the building. Please use it upon entering and exiting the building
The studio and wider building will be cleaned regularly and high contact touch points in the studio such as hand rails will be cleaned after every class
There will be no sharing of equipment in class and you will be asked to clean any equipment used both before and after use with the cleaning products provided
Our class scheduling allows for a minimum 20 minute gap between classes so that participants can enter/exit the studio whilst observing social distancing guidelines
Neither you or the instructor are currently required to wear a face covering in class as the 2 metre social distancing guidelines will be observed
We politely ask that you do not bring towels on to the studio floor
Please plan your visit so that you arrive into the building no earlier than 10 minutes before the start of your class
We ask that you please arrive ready to take part in the class. Coat and bag hooks are available opposite the studio floor (and visible at all times) and all participants will be asked to leave their bags and coats in this area. If you decide to bring your own mat, please take it onto the studio floor with you
Please bring your own bottle of water and take it onto the studio floor with you
We would like to thank you in advance for your co-operation and patience. If you have any concerns or questions, then please get in touch any time.
Look forward to seeing you in class!

“I am a huge advocate of group exercise. I’ve either attended or taught classes for over 30 years - something a bit special happens when people come together to exercise. Fitness classes provide a great opportunity to take time out, escape the world for an hour or two and can be the perfect recipe to help stay happy and healthy.
As an instructor, I've always loved the variety of ways people benefit from attending classes. Not only seeing improvements in fitness, flexibility and movement, but also watching lasting friendships being made which often extend beyond class.
There are numerous benefits to keeping physically active and attending a regular fitness class. Here are just a few of them:
They can help you to reduce the risk of developing major illnesses such as type 2 diabetes, heart disease, high blood pressure and stroke
They can help you to manage your weight within a healthy range
They can improve your cardiovascular fitness so that you can do more before feeling out of breath
They can help to improve your muscular strength and stamina so that you can do more before feeling tired
They can help you to improve your flexibility and range of movement so that you can perform daily activities with relative ease
Then can help to improve balance and co-ordination skills which can help prevent trips and falls
They can improve your posture by redressing muscular imbalances caused by everyday life e.g. sitting at a desk for long periods of time
They can improve bone health
They can help to improve your overall mood and feeling of wellbeing
They provide you with a regular and structured way to exercise
They provide the opportunity to learn how to perform exercises with good technique under the guidance of a trained instructor
They provide you with the opportunity to meet other people in a fun and friendly environment
It’s my first time attending the studio, what do I need to bring?
Please bring a small bottle of water and if you require additional items, such as an inhaler, make sure you bring it with you to every class. Please note that unfortunately towels are not allowed on the studio floor.
What should I wear to exercise in?
We recommend wearing clothing that is cool, comfortable and allows you to move freely. Suitable footwear is also important, so trainers or something similar with grip will help provide your feet with support and prevent you from slipping. You may also find it beneficial to bring an extra layer of clothing as you may begin to feel cooler towards the end of the session.
How do I know if I will be fit enough for the class?
You are! You do not have to be fit to come to class, so please do not let that put you off. We welcome everyone, including complete beginners. If you are unsure about what class is suitable for you, then please contact us and we will advise you on the best way to start. You will be asked to complete a confidential health questionnaire in advance of taking part in the class, so we can discuss any concerns that you may have then.
I’ve never been to fitness class before, what should I expect?
Each class will vary in terms of the type of exercises that are performed so please see our full class descriptions for more information on the class content.
Each class lasts for 55 minutes and will be led by a fully qualified instructor. You will be exercising with other people in a small group (whilst maintaining social distancing) but will always have the ability to work at your own level. The instructor will be there to help you with any of the exercises and to ensure that you get the most out of the session.
I have a health condition, can I exercise?
Providing that the type of activity chosen is suitable for you, then exercise is normally encouraged as part of maintaining a healthy lifestyle. We will take the time to find out about you and any health conditions that you may have and will advise on the best class for you to attend. In the interests of your own safety, we may refer you to your GP or health specialist before taking part in a class.
Would you like to have your own regular exercise class with a group of up to 6 friends or family? If so, then speak with us about Your Class, designed to give you the space to exercise with the people you know.

A fun and easy to follow dance aerobics style class. You will learn different steps and moves as part of a routine, all performed to the beat of the music. The soundtrack includes music from across the decades and although no dance experience is needed, a sense of fun and a big smile is certainly helpful.
Perfect for those who enjoy moving to music and want to give their brains a workout too! High and low intensity options are available making the class suitable for all abilities.
Improved cardiovascular fitness, stamina, co-ordination skills and balance. The continous aerobic exercise makes it a great fat burner and also leaves you with that feel good factor!
An easy to follow class with a broad range of exercises followed by a cool down and stretch section at the end. The class format varies from week to week to keep everything fresh and you on your toes! There is no need to be able to move to the music but a focus on movement will keep the heart rate up and the body warm.
Suitable for everyone. This class allows you to work at your own level every time. Options to make the exercises easier or more challenging are always provided so you can work as hard as your day allows.
Improved cardiovascular fitness. Greater muscular strength, stamina and endurance. Helping you stay fit and healthy for whatever life throws at you.
The class starts with a simple warm up followed by low impact muscular strength and endurance exercises, without any jumping around. We work targeted muscle groups to trim up and improve strength - taking our time to focus on good technique in order to get the most out of the session and tone up without overloading joints.
The low impact nature of this class makes it suitable for all abilities, including beginners. Anyone who would like to tone up or those advised to improve their core strength would certainly benefit from this class.
Improved body shape, muscle tone and strength. Keeping you in good condition with maybe a little less wobble!
A low impact class focussing on developing your flexibility, balance and posture. Inspired by fitness yoga in parts, this class takes you through a sequence of standing and floor-based movements before ending with a calming relaxation session.
Suitable for all abilities, especially those who would like to improve flexibility, stretch out muscles, relax and unwind - without too much puffing and blowing.
Improved flexibility, joint mobility and postural alignment. As well as a chance to relax and unwind, this class will help with your balance and core stability. Core stability being a vital part of maintaining a healthy back.
If you prefer a gentler approach to keeping active then this is the class for you. A low intensity session incorporating a range of exercises and stretches that can be performed seated or standing. We work slowly with control and there's no pressure to keep up with anyone else!
A perfect class for anyone wanting to keep active through gentle exercise. Ideal for beginners or anyone who is looking for a less intensive fitness class experience.
Improved mobility, flexibility, balance and co-ordination. The slightly slower nature of the class gives you the chance to get to know those around you a little better too!
A gentle and easy to follow exercise to music class incorporating a range of flowing movements which are performed at a slow and steady pace. Perfect for any beginners, those possibly new to exercise to music or who crave a less intensive Groove class.
Suitable for those who enjoy moving to music, but at a low intensity. The class is performed standing, so it is ideal for those who are unable to make it up and down from the floor to exercise.
Improved mobility, flexibility, balance and co-ordination. The focus is on enjoyment and moving to music, so it will be sure to lift your mood!
